Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

I support clients through a wide range of concerns, including trauma, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship challenges, codependency, and patterns of feeling emotionally overwhelmed or disconnected.

Some clients have done things that deeply hurt themselves or people they love. They don’t understand why they did it or why they keep doing it, and feel unable to stop. They feel ashamed, isolated, and find that quick fixes and AI “advice” are not giving them the real answers or the change they need.

I use evidence-based and humanistic therapies to understand these patterns at their root and help clients stop behaviours that are keeping them stuck, while building a life that feels more stable, meaningful, and possible than they once believed.

I also incorporate EMDR therapy when appropriate to help process unresolved trauma and reduce the emotional intensity of past experiences that continue to impact the present.

I create a therapeutic space that is both compassionate and challenging—supportive enough to talk about the things that feel unspeakable, and active enough to move toward real, sustainable change.

Over time, clients develop greater self-understanding, emotional regulation, stronger relationships, and a grounded sense of confidence, stability, and strength in who they are and how they show up in their lives.

I invite you to reach out to me (Rene) for a free 20-minute consultation to see how I can best help you. Click “Get Started Now”, and I look forward to meeting you!

With practice, however, we learn to stay with a broken heart, with a nameless fear, with the desire for revenge. Sticking with uncertainty is how we learn to relax in the midst of chaos, how we learn to be cool when the ground beneath us suddenly disappears.”
